    I’ve just completed my second round of treatment. It started off well, but towards the end, I had a reaction to the meds—my chest began to close up, and there was noticeable swelling around my neck. It was a scary moment, but the medical team was incredible. They acted quickly, giving me steroids and antihistamines to relieve the pressure and make me comfortable again. I was monitored closely and, thankfully, able to go home after a couple of hours.

    So far, 2 down and 34 to go. It’s only the beginning, but already so much has happened in just three weeks. This journey is full of unexpected turns, but I’m grateful for the care and support around me.

    Every step forward is a victory—one day, one treatment at a time.

    Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far—it truly means more than words can express. Since sharing my story, I’ve received my first double immunotherapy treatment, and it was an emotional roller coaster. Six hours in a place where everyone shares the same fears and hopes—it’s humbling and overwhelming at the same time.

    The good news: the drugs were well tolerated, and I’m doing my best to keep life as normal as possible. One treatment down, 35 more to go! This is just the beginning, but every step forward feels like a victory.
