Raising funds to assist further study overseas.

Kia ora! My name is Eva and I am a trumpeter, pianist and composer completing my study in performance. Being offered a place of study in performance by the Melbourne Conservatoire of Music is an incredible step forward in my training for a career in performance.
Having to move countries brings many financial challenges, and any support would mean the world and help my future so much!
Community and collaboration in performance has been at the forefront of Eva’s life, a passion fostered by long-term involvement in many orchestras. Eva began her studies towards a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Composition at the University of Canterbury in 2020, followed by Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music.
In 2021-2022 she had pieces selected by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra's Todd Young Composer Awards, and was awarded AWE Emerging Composer alongside Composer in Residence Gareth Farr. She was then awarded the Confucius Institute China Crossing Award in 2023. Eva has also begun to gain commissions including NZTrio and the Christopher Classics Foundation.
Becoming a member of the Christchurch Youth Orchestra at age fourteen, Eva was Principal Trumpet from 2020, when she performed a concerto movement with them. Eva also became a Student Ambassador for CSO, later performing with the Christchurch Symphonic Brass and alongside the CSO, NZSO, and The All Girl Big Band.
Eva was the recipient of an Inspire Foundation grant in 2022 and the Florence Bradford Award at the end of 2023.
