Help Faith help the babies

This year our daughter Faith graduated from Mount Maunganui College, and instead of going straight into tertiary study, she has decided to give a year of her life to serve in an amazing organisation called "Mothers Choice" in Hong Kong.

Mother’s Choice is a charity serving many children without families and pregnant teenagers in Hong Kong. When a young girl in Hong Kong gets pregnant, there aren't many options available to her and her unborn child which can force them into making terrible and dangerous decisions. Mother's Choice has been around for over 50 years and provides support, care, and facilities for both mother and child. Their vision is to see every child in a loving family - whether that's with their natural mother or through adoption.

This is where our girl Faith comes into it.

Babies need to be cared for when awaiting adoption, so Faith will be working full time in a voluntary position giving much needed LOVE and CARE to them while their forever home is being prepared.

To make this happen we need to raise at least $10-$15k to get her there and ensure her expenses are taken care of for the year. Since she is volunteering Faith will have no income over this time, so the success of this venture truly does depend on how much we can raise before the first week of March 2019.

As well as the obvious blessing she will be to these babies, Faith too will benefit hugely.

We expect this journey to be enriching, fulfilling, and at times heartbreaking. Faith is a deeply compassionate girl and has a heart to serve and love on people. This is both a strength and something she may struggle with during her time away, but Faith is determined to make this small difference in the world and give these babies as much love and care as possible. Faith has such a big passion for babies, and we believe this experience will shape her, grow her up in ways we can't even imagine, and set her sails for an amazing future.

Faith is courageously striking out on her own with this - she isn't going with a group of friends or any organisation so your support will be hugely appreciated.
