Help for chris and his family after being dignosed with cancer

At the start of May, Chris heard the news nobody wants to hear: he has a rare form of cancer in his small bowels. We have just been to Auckland for a scan that wasn't available in Christchurch and are now awaiting an MRI scan on the 4th of June, and then surgeons on the 6th to discuss what's next. The future is unknown to us, but what we do know is that there's going to be a lot of back and forth to the hospital as well as surgery. This is going to mean a lot of petrol (we live 40 minutes from the hospital) and loss of wages from having to take time off, etc.

Chris has asked me to make this page as a lot of people have asked what they can do to help, and this is all we could think of.
