Our family needs financial help to be with our Tash throughout ongoing critical medical treatments after a house fire.
Nationwide
My Aunty Natasha Potroz is a single mother of an 11 year old boy. She was in a house fire on ANZAC day and suffered life-threatening burns to her upper body. She is in critical condition at Middlemore hospital in Auckland. Our family are all based in Palmerston North and we want to be with her as much as possible through this sad and scary time. We are reaching out to the public in hope that we can get help with the finanacial burden of travel costs and accommodation so that she never has to be alone through any of this. My Mum, Aunty and Nana all need to be by their Daughter and Sister to support her and each other. They will share a room and do whatever it takes to minimise cost to be with Tash longer, and to preserve as much funds as possible to replace what was lost in the fire.
UPDATE: She has been moved out of the Critical Care Unit and transferred to the burn center at Middlemore for ongoing treatments/surgeries.
I want to help in any way i can and i thought this could be my contribution. The hospital have helped as much as they can the past few days but there is still a long recovery ahead. As Natasha still needs more surgerys and going to be there for a long while yet, any donations would be a blessing xo
The money donated will be paid to Natasha's mother and will be spent on travel costs and staying at the motel near the hospital as long as she is being treated in Auckland. If we exceed the limit needed it will be spent on getting Tash the important things she lost in the fire.
Out of hospital 7 June 2019
Tash is back in Palmy via Hutt Hospital and staying with her mum. She still needs a lot of recovery care and will need to rebuild her life and possessions as her insurance was cancelled only weeks before the accident.
To make matters worse, her car was stolen while she was in ICU - so we are keeping this page open to help her financially as much as possible.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the donations that allowed us to be there with Tash and for the heartfelt messages.
Your message will be displayed on the page and emailed to the donor.
