Please help take the burden of the house fire off their shoulders & not have to worry about finances while caring for their boys
Gisborne
On the 12th of February 2021 Michaela, Vincent, Braxton, VJ, Bycie & Sarge’s home was partially engulfed with fire gutting both the kitchen and lounge with the remainder of the house having extended fire damage losing all of their possessions. Unfortunately they did not have insurance to cover any loss or damages.
With that being what probably feels like the bottom of the barrel this whānau still has many obstacles to overcome having 4 children under 6 with medical conditions. Braxton (6) suffers from Brital Asthma, VJ (4) has just had his tracheostomy removed and continues to need monitoring. The twins Sarge & Bycie (19 months) are currently live in patients at The Gisborne Hospital, both twins have narrow airways and both have tracheostomies needing around the clock care.
This house was a home for them as a whānau, a place for the twins to come back to during the day and is the only other home they have known other than the hospital. It was also a home for them as a whānau to be under the same roof after living in Starship/Gisborne hospital for the majority of their lives.
Braxton & VJ are currently being cared for by relatives & attending daycare and kura, whilst the twins are still located at the hospital only aloud out and about during the day
Any donations big all small will be much appreciated.
I am Michaela’s cousin and the boy’s Aunty
Money raised will be used to replace possessions lost in the fire
