Help for the victims of super typhoon Rolly(Goni) in Albay

$510 donated
Given by 3 generous donors in 16 days

No help is too small.

Northland

I grew up in the town of Albay(Phillipines) which has been recently hit hard by the typhoon Rolly(Goni). I know many families need help as their homes were flooded, burried under volcanic mud or destroyed. The photos included here are just a few of the aftermath of the typhoon.

We have helped our family and organized Fundraiser at work (Dargaville Medical Centre) but I would like to do more and contribute anyway I can to other families in need and we would be most grateful if you could too.

The funds will be sent to Albay Phillipines through online remmitance to family and relatives, villages and to Diana Vibar (teacher of Camalig Albay- +639453415062) who is already organizing and handing out donations on site to families in need of help.

Use of funds

The proceeds will be used for food and supplies for families that has been ravaged by the typhoon.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
