Poor Champagne got his PCR test results back and is a calicivirus carrier.
This is a contagious virus to other cats if he sneezes near them or gets flu again.
So he will need to be on longer term medication so his body is healthy and ready to find a furrever home as an only cat.

Champagne has had more xrays, nasal flush and a pcr test.
Current results:
Flushed both nostrils, mild-moderate amount of purulent discharge
(less than previous flush)
No polyp seen in both ears, less gunky compared to last visit -
possibly inflamed soft tissue from large amount of ear wax during
last check up
No polyp behind palate
Xrays - bullae appears normal/symmetrical both sides,
radiolucent. Increased bronchointerstitial pattern in caudal lung
field
Awaiting PCR results, on meds for 3 weeks.
If pcr negative and not much improvement he may need an ultrasound. :(
He is still very playful and active
