Help Free as a Bird Rescue
I'm raising funds to help Free as a bird Rescue to continue to save chickens from the slaughterhouse and give them a second chance at life.
Bay of Plenty
Kelly is devoted to rescuing chooks from being sent to the slaughterhouse after they have endured 18 horrifying months in atrocious conditions. She give them basic medical treatment and teach the ones that survives how to walk, eat, drink, sleep and how to handle night and day.
It's an expensive operation and Kelly is really struggling to make ends meet. I want to do anything I can to help her give a tiny fraction of the millions of chickens that are slaughtered a second chance at a life that they should have had in the first place.

9 of my chooks were rescued by Free as a Bird Rescue, and I was humbled to see the incredible work Kelly is doing for these poor animals.
Use of funds
All money will go directly to Free as a Bird that uses them for veterinary services, medication, food and logistics.

We're back! 1 March 2022
Firstly an apology for not restarting this page sooner after it expired. I never intended for it to be unavailable for such a long time.
Kelly kept on working hard to rescue chickens, so I should have made sure the donations kept on coming in to support her work.
But we're back now!
Any donations, no matter how small, are tremendously appreciated and will help and encourage Kelly to carry on her amazing work.
