Help fund Collingwood Kindergarten.

The closure of Kakariki Kids and Little Red Fox Early Learning Centres over the span of two years left children and families in the Collingwood area in crisis. The existing two centres that provide day care located in Takaka were at full capacity and had, and continue to have, extensive wait lists.

In response to this the community formed the Aorere Childcare and Education Charity. We collaborated with Nelson Tasman Kindergartens, a robust non-for-profit charity, to find a future proof solution for our families.

We now have a relocated building on Collingwood Area School grounds and Ministry funding to renovate it. The ACEC now needs the community's help to raise funds for

- indoor and outdoor resources

- landscaping

- a full playground

- furniture

- educational resources such as arts and craft materials, science equipment, woodworking tools, bikes, sports equipment, gymnastics mats, dress-ups, books etc.

to create the best learning environment for our chidlren.
