Help fund life changing surgery for Jay

  • Jay's First Surgery Result

    Jay's initial surgery yesterday was a success. Jay stayed one night in hospital and was discharged by 10am. The surgeon said it was Stage 2 Endo with 2 areas of adhesion on the middle and the left side. The left side had adhesions near the bowel which was causing Jay the most pain and causing blockages. This would have been a serious risk to Jay's health without surgery. So the surgery was very necessary and we made the right decision to have it now. After a few months'of recovery, Jay should be feeling much better, according to the surgeon. Jay now has the summer to recover as school is finished. Jay's final exam was the day before surgery and we drove down to Christchurch immediately following the exam. Jay is sore but cheerful. 🙂
