Help Fund This Small Chicken and Rooster Refuge

Hi!

For a few years now I've been taking in neglected and unwanted chickens.

This includes roosters (don't worry: I'm responsible in my handling of roosters - this includes keeping noise in my current semi-rural area to a minimum).

I love these animals, as they have a type of intelligence humans often don't possess.

The issue is this: I rent. I've had to move with the rescue chooks once before and I'd rather not have to undertake the nearly impossible task of finding another property that'll take both me and chickens.

It's time to look for a permanent (suitable) spot for the chickens. What I need is a realistic 20% deposit, plus the usual prerequisite 'lawyer's fees' amount that the bank requires I have. No more; no less.

I have a full time job in one of the more essential type services, but at a lower wage. This means I'm a safe bet when it comes to me getting a loan, but only if I can get the initial costs together.

This means there's no risk of your donation being wasted.

I'm calling on all animal lovers. Please help me set up a more permanent and responsibly-located chicken refuge.
