Help me pursue my dream of making it to the 2024 Paris Olympics!

  • Update 3: Season Complete

      25 June 2024

    Hey everyone,

After a rough season, even with the best support I could ask for, my poor hamstring just could not come back well enough for a second time. Alongside this there were/are factors both inside and outside of my control. So, I will not be competing at the Olympic Games this year. It hurts a lot, I am truly heartbroken. Although, I was initially embarrassed to feel this upset, as I did not feel I was thought to be good enough to justify it. I am not sure what I feel now, I think differently. But I am still proud and I do not regret pushing at all.

To everyone who has supported me, I am forever grateful. I have been surprised and completely humbled by each of you. Your messages and support have meant the world to me. I am truly sorry that I could not make it, but I promise you that the lessons I have learnt will allow me to grow as an athlete and a person. I will be better.

    Thank you again.

  • Update 2: Fiji

      25 June 2024

    Hey everyone,

I am on route to Suva (in Fiji) for the Oceania Area Championships. This competition happens every two years and is incredibly important for World Rankings/major qualifications. I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that my performance at the last Oceania's carried me two World Championships. However, while the points are phenomenal, the conditions are often not, so this competition is primarily about placing well. I have not had the most ideal preparation for this, but I am ready to leave it all on the track and give it everything I have. Which sounds cliche, but I truly mean it.

    Wish me luck!

  • Update 1: Japan!

      29 April 2024

    Hey everyone!

Firstly, I want to say thank you. To everyone who has taken the time to read my message and to those who have supported me. I have been so humbled by the responses I have received and I cannot tell you how much they mean to me.

Secondly, a quick update from me. As I type this I am on route to Japan (to Kakegawa, which is in Shizuoka near Tokyo) for the 39th Shizuoka International Meet. I’ll be racing a heat and final on this Friday, and am looking to pick up some solid points with a fast time. I am really excited to race but also to see a little bit of Japan which I have never been to before.

Wish me luck! And thank you again.
