Funds are for purchasing wheelchair/stroller hybrid. If a surplus of funds is provided, I will donate it to ADRA and use it for therapy treatments. ☺️
First time out in public! 20 November 2018
On saturday afternoon I attended an event with my Dekhanee (Cousin), Belynda (Mum), and Dee (Aunt). A little party for like minded women in town, Lil Bit Different, my Aunty Di had hired a wheelchair for me to use if I needed it. The difference it made to my body and mind, knowing that i had the assistance there if i needed it was HUGE. When I finally got to use it- somehow this peace pumped its way through me. My cousin wheeled my round the dance floor and we had the best time! Even though I had a few strangers say some odd things to me about having walked in on my feet- and then to being wheeled around, it couldnt have stopped how free i felt in that chair.
