Help get Cleo to Tamworth 2026!
NZ Golden Guitar Junior Overall Winner needs help to get to the Tamworth Country Music Festival 2026.
Lyttelton, Canterbury
Kia ora, I'm Cleo Fitzgerald, I'm 11 Years old and from Lyttelton. We travelled to Gore in June 2025 to compete in the New Zealand Golden Guitar Awards. I entered in 3 out of 4 junior categories and made the finals for all 3. In the finals I won Country Gospel, Country Vocal Solo and runner up in Country Rock. I came away as the Junior Overall Winner for my Vocal Solo (The Climb, by Miley Cyrus).
I still can't believe it!!!
It was our first time entering New Zealand's biggest country music festival and competition.
An exciting part of my prize is being invited to fly to Tamworth, Australia, to perform in the NZ Showcase and compete in the Tamworth Country Music Festival Jan 2026. Tamworth is a 5 hour train trip from Sydney! This is all very exciting......BUT..... I need a little help to get here there.
Any help would be very much apprecited.
