---------------------------------
Hi my names Kelsey Tough and my Greyhound Labrodor named Shiloh was in a devastating accident which involved in her breaking her radius & ulna in her front right leg, she also sustained major lacerations down to the bone with nerve damage and also tendon damage to her front left leg. She is at Humanimals at the moment currently awaiting surgery which has been estimated $4500-$6000 with ongoing costs for after treatment and rehabilitation. This surgery will give Shiloh double steel plating in the front right broken leg enabling her to walk again after a long period of rehabilitation.
The costs quoted so far above are those of the surgery to the broken leg as well as pain relief and care while at at the vet clinic. There will be further costs to repair the left leg but cost are unknown for this at this stage.
Any funds will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Kelsey Tough xo
Will be directly transferred to Humanimals vet clinic Dunedin to cover the funds of surgery and ongoing rehabilitation costs.
Shiloh 17 May 2018
as devastated as we are we have had to make the decision to put shiloh down. Not my preferred choice surgery was going to go ahead today but with a broken leg and now possible nerve damage in the other front leg which maybe paralyzed and need ampurated even after fixing broken leg by surgery all her weight b on the broken leg which chances are may not heal and that being the case would b put down anyway. poor girl suffering a lot and have decided its in her best interest to let her go and not put her thru the suffering,
