Help Get Trish Back On The Road

Our Manawa Dragons whanaunga, Trishy, recently had her car stolen from the lawn of her family’s newly purchased home in Huntly, a place they had lived in for just over a week. The car was later found stripped and dumped, and is now a total write off.

Trish is a fiercely independent, hard working wahine who gives so much to her community. She works as a cleaner at local primary schools, and having a car isn’t a luxury, it’s essential for her mahi.

Unfortunately, the car wasn’t insured, leaving her facing the huge challenge of having to save for another vehicle.

As a team with big heart, we at Manawa Dragons want to rally around Trish and help her get back on the road. She has weathered more than her fair share of adversity in life, yet she continues to show kindness, resilience, and generosity to others.

It’s our turn to give back to someone who wholeheartedly deserves it.

We’re not asking for much. Every koha, big or small, helps. And even simply sharing this page makes a difference.

This has been devastating for Trish and her whānau, especially so soon after moving house.
