Aroha Mai, Help Me Represent Aotearoa at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Japan!

When I first stepped onto the mats, I had no idea how much BJJ would change my life. It’s more than just a sport to me; it’s become a way to push myself, to grow, and to find strength I didn’t know I had. It’s given me confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging that has transformed my life.

Through hard work, countless hours of training, and a lot of support from my coach, Jerry, and my teammates, I’ve earned a place at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships.

But this opportunity comes with a big financial cost. Between flights, accommodation, tournament fees, and other travel expenses, getting to Japan isn’t cheap. That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser – to help cover the costs and make my dream a reality.

This isn’t just about competing for a medal. It’s about showing the world the heart and spirit of Aotearoa. I want to make my family, my coach, my team at Rogue Training Centre, and all of New Zealand proud. This journey has been one of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication, and now it’s time to take that next step – with your help.
