Zack is extremely excited to represent New Zealand at the Junior World Champs in August 2018
Canterbury
Hi Everyone, my name is Zack Rumble.
I have been involved in rowing for the last five years, rowing for St Andrews College for 5 years and Southern RPC for the latter. After the first season I was hooked and ever since then I have worked towards my goals at school level, after a successful 2017 Maadi Cup I set myself the goal of representing my country.
After spending 12 months training intensely, I was lucky enough to given a Junior Trial. Then after one week of trials I was named in the two seat of the NZ Junior Coxless Quad which will compete at World Champs this August in the Czech Republic.
As a part of the campaign we are required to relocate up to Cambridge for an eight week period where we will train as a crew and live together by the lake. We then depart for Prague, Czech Republic on the 29th of July where we spend 2 weeks training and acclimatising before we race on the 10th of August.
It has been a dream of mine to represent my country and I am extremely grateful for the support I have had leading up to this point.
The tour to the Czech Republic costs $7500 which includes airfares, travel costs, accomodation, boat hire and our team uniforms. And the cost of living and training in Cambridge costs $2200
Any support would be greatly appreciated.
The money raised will be used for travel, living costs in Cambridge and the cost of the campaign to get to the Czech Republic to represent NZ at the 2018 Junior World Championship Regatta.
Thank you so much Inglis family.
Thank you so much Bro and Carly
