Help fund stray puppys’ vet bills.
Taupo, Waikato
Aurora was found out a isolate beach in Marokopa. She was malnourished, starving, itchy and balding and had obviously had minimal human contact, if any at all.
My friend and I lured her into a bathroom with a treat trail and then were able to pick her up and take her to my van. Once she calmed down she slept for hours and hours, my van passenger seat likely being the first safe and warm space spot she’s had in a while.
We rushed her to the vets and though in bad condition, she is expected to make a full recovery and be fit and healthy with a bit of TLC.
I have decided to keep her as she has become very attached to me (and the food that sometimes magically appears from my hand). However, I had not financially prepared for a puppy as I was not expecting her.
I love her, will doing anything for her and know I can give her a good life. A bit of one off financial aid to help pay for her vet bills, de-sexing, vaccinations and puppy necessities to help get us started for the exciting journey ahead of us would be a great help. All donations will be greatly appreciated and never forgotten ♥️

Aurora’s Journey 23 January 2024
Aurora and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported us in the Journey, it means so much.
Aurora’s hair after treatment grew back within two weeks on her paws and ears and chest and her coat continued to thicken more and more each week with quality food.
She had all her vaccines and recovered well. She has been getting plenty of food and her ribs no longer poke out, though she is still slim and lanky (but not underweight!) which is likely due to her breed (suspected Huntaway) and the fact that she is putting lots of her energy into growing. In the 8 weeks I’ve had her she has doubled her size.
She has made an incredible recovery both physically and mentally. When I first found her it was days until she had her first tail wag, weeks until she would play with people and months until she would let strangers pat her. She is now a very sociable girl, introduces herself to people and other dogs when I take her on the beach and loves to play. I feel very privileged to have witnessed her progress and to see her acting more and more like a dog each day.
Thank you all for your support.
Love from Aurora and Maria ♥️
