Help Gracie to purchase mobility aids to improve quality of life.
Wellington
Hi, my names Gracie, this year I'm turning 25 and I live with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Fibromyalgia.
One day in 2018 I got sick and instead of recovering, it slowly got worse and started to change how I lived.
4 years with lots of time in hospital and so many tests, I finally got diagnosed with both me/cfs and fibro.
Tasks that used to be simple became exhausting and painful in extreme ways, some days I'm completely bed bound, walking or staying awake becomes barely possible.
Getting a walker/wheelchair will make such a huge difference in my life.
There's no cure for either illness (yet) but I've found that with the help of things like mobility aids, I've been able to get back some of the freedom and independence that I lost after getting sick.
Thankyou for reading my story, any support is deeply appreciated ❤
I am her proud mother.
