Hakaia needs some help with travel expenses.
Hakaia was selected for direct entry to the National Shakespeare Schools Production in Wellington following his outstanding performance as the scheming King Lear. From NSSP Hakaia has a good chance of being chosen to go to the Globe in London next year.
This is a tremendous achievement for Hakaia because he had to fit his Shakespeare rehearsals around his many other commitments. He had a lead role in the recent school production of The Little Mermaid while rehearsing for NSSP, plus as the arts captain at school Hakaia takes his responsibilites seriously, promoting the arts as well as other leadership duties.
Hakaia is an extremely dedicated and hard working young man. It would be a shame for him to miss these wonderful opportunities simply because of the cost of travel.
Please give what you can to help. Hakaia would be extremely grateful.
