Help 17 year old Hannah Granger chase her dream at the CrossFit Games in California this July.
Richmond, Tasman
At just 17 years of age Hannah has already begun making a name for herself in the competitive CrossFit world. In 2024 she won the NZ National 14 -15 year old title, qualified the following year for not only the teen division at NZ Nationals but the Elite Women's division, where she ended up competing, and blowing away all expectations by placing 7th in the country, against the fittest women NZ has to offer.
She has since competed in Australia at the Downunder Champs, and recently placed 4th at the Torian Pro in Brisbane.
Hannah has also qualified 8th in the world in her 16-17 year age group to book herself a place at the CrossFit Games this coming July (essentially the World Champs of the sport).
CrossFit is a sport, like any other, that takes a massive commitment and dedication to training, which Hannah has shown, while still performing well at school and in her weekend employment, but it is also a sport that receives little to no outside funding or recognition.
Now Hannah is seeking the assistance of this incredibly generous community to assist with flights to the States, accommodation, and competition entry fees.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about Hannah's journey, and if you can't donate, please take a minute to share her page. Thank you!!!
I am Hannah's dad, and along with her mum we are trying to give Hannah every chance to go as far as she can in a sport she absolutely loves and thrives on.
Any funds raised will help with flights and accommodation for Hannah & her coach, comp entry fees & training facilities in the States leading up to the event. If the full target isn't met, funds will still help reduce the cost & ensure Hannah can compete.
