Help Johur Hasan, a young father battling stage-2 Pancreatic Cancer, continue his fight for life. Donate now to keep his hope alive!
Canterbury
My brother-in-law (my only sister's husband), Johur Hasan, is a 37-year-old who was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer earlier this year. The diagnosis came just seven days before the birth of his first child, Zayaan. What should have been a joyous time turned into a devastating period for the entire family.
Hasan, once fit and full of life, worked as a Senior Service Engineer at Bangura Gas Field in Comilla, Bangladesh. His wife, a Junior Auditor based in Dhaka, had looked forward to a promising future together. But in June 2024, Hasan’s health rapidly declined.
Since then, we have been doing all we can to support his treatment, but the financial burden is immense. In just a few months, we’ve spent BDT 30,00,000 (approx. $42,000 NZD), and we are struggling to keep up with the growing expenses.
Hasan is fighting bravely through chemotherapy, showing signs of improvement, but he still has a long journey ahead. His greatest wish is to watch his son grow up and be the father Zayaan deserves.
We are turning to you—friends, family, and kind strangers—for your help. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference in keeping Hasan’s hope alive. Help us ensure that he can continue his fight for the future he deserves.
Donate now and help give Hasan the strength to fight for his family.
Hasan is my brother-in-law and the devoted husband of my only sister.
The funds will cover Hasan's ongoing chemotherapy, medical tests, medications, and hospital visits. Also, they will help manage the mounting medical bills and ensure he receives the best care possible, allowing him to continue his fight against cancer.
