HELP heal Doogal

Doogal is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu/ Toy Poodle cross, we have had from 12 weeks old. He is a loyal lovable boy who loves car rides and walks at the dog park.

Last week he jumped off the back deck and hurt his leg. He has been on medication to reduce swelling so he can have x rays to find out the damage. The vet has confirmed he needs cruciate ligament surgery to re-attach not 1 but 2 ligaments in the knee that connects the tibia and femur to stabilize the joint so he can walk again (in humans this is snapping an ACL)

I have been advised the cost of this surgery is approx. $6,000.00.

Paying for vet consultations, x rays, 2 lots of meds and a consultation free with the surgeon has exhausted what savings I had, my partner has a neurological condition and is only able to work part time. I have recently started a new job so that makes getting a loan a bit harder.

I am need of help to raise funds so our boy can heal, it is heartbreaking watching him limp about, not being able to go for walks at the park.

We as a family would be so grateful for any donation, no matter how small, to help our boy get the surgery he needs to live his best life.
