    Hello all,

Our wee Heidi cat is on the improve, thank goodness, and just needs more muscle and cognitive recovery, but the b1 should fix that Hello, this morning. Thank you so so much for my yogurt grains, I'm looking forward to using them, and I appreciate that a lot, look like I can have some fun with the recipe.

Our wee Heidi cat is on the improve, thank goodness, and just needs more muscle and cognitive recovery, but the b1 should fix that over time, we are now on monthly visits as of yesterday to the vets as she's gained back her weight. Thank goodness, photo here in a harness outside, she not a fan, but little by little, as I'm not sure if she took off outdoors that she'd not know how to get home or out of trouble right now, so we are playing it safe with supervised outings,

Have a wonderful weekend everyone more gardening and seed planting for me 🥰🙏🌼🐱over time, we are now on monthly visits as of yesterday to the vets as she's gained back her weight. Two weeks today since Heidi was found, our search was a long one. Her battling and will for life is amazing. We've brought a harness for Heidi and she had her first day in the sun in over a month and half albeit a half hour sint in the sunny warm weather. She's still on a special recovery/ her raw food diet, and gaining weight, almost 1kg in 2 wks, just her strengthen of her legs and mind that will take the time. Thank you all for your donations, it all helps, towards the ongoing costs, of vet bills and her special food. We appreciate all of you very much. 🥰🙏🐈🐱 she's doing the Mahi, we are so grateful to have her back xxxx

Hi All, early morning drive to the vets again today.....big shout out to Lincoln Villages vets... amazing !!!

Heidi's temperature is back to normal, she's finished the antibiotics, still on Thiamine for her cognitive reversal, and helping the eye sight, balance etc.

We are able to move her to 3hrs feeds and a little more, along with a little kibble.

She can have a water bowl and can feed from a bowl now too.

She has gained more weight, so she's heading in the right place. Still feeding the " recovery food" mainly as this has all the goodies in it for her

Next vet check, Friday morning. Cheers everyone

  • 5th Night 24th Aug update

1 week on from the ph call to say we think weve found your cat, (I got a few calls thanks to the posting on our local fb page) to meet them at the afterhours, it was a beautiful sunny Sunday morning, everyday we'd been asking for a miracle, today it got answered 😊

When she arrived, she was whisked into emergency care, iv in and vets working fast to give her a chance. At this point we'd not been able to id her, it was about 5- 10 mins on ( everything a blur) that the 1st vet came into the waiting room we were in to give us an update, she said this cats trying to die on us 😪, that they had an iv in and trying to hydrate her. Another 5-10 min on they quickly brought her into us to id her, yep that's our girl and we asked her to fight and come back to us, I believe that very brief moment of her hearing our voices, from her people was what it took, she fought alright, and is still fighting hour by hour day by day. She spent most of yesterday beside or on our daughters lap, as she was on feeding duty. Heidi would grumble and hiss if you tried to put her back in her contained area for too long, loving tge human connection. Bowels are working as they should 🙏Vet visit back yo ours tomorrow. Take care you lovely people 🥰🐱🐈🙏 tap the link below, story of Heidi

Fairly goid night, with most feeding 1 hourly, a few stretched out to 1¹/² hourly, which gave me more sleep also. Last night she was hissing more if we had to move her off our lap, back to her confined space, not the cage, she loves her freedom, and this more face up at the side door checking out the outdoors.

She's still very frail, back legs will take a far while to rebuild strength to, she's a fighter for sure 🙏🐱🐈

Heidi had a quiter day, after her daily check up at the vets,

Shes now allowed out of cage, she's now in a larger but still contained area under our dinning table.

She sat on my lap, for a good part of the evening, she hissed at me when we went to pop her back to her new area , her way of saying, nah I'd rather stay put. We had her next to her sister last night, photos put up.

She was tried a bit more yesterday, as she had more mobility I think that tuckered her a little.

Still feeding every 1 - 1 and a half hrs.

Thanks again to all that have donated 🐱🙏🧡

  • 2nd night at Home

      21 August 2025

So over night Heidi, was the demand feeder, every hour, I didn't need to set the alarm, between my hourly sleeps, she was meowing on cue.... vet visit this morning, hubby took her, she's gained a little more weight than yesterday, we are allowed to introduce some of her normal raw food back, in with the "recovery food " we are buying from our vet.

They tried to take blood today, but couldn't get any veins, temperature down 1 deg.

Back to our vet on Monday for another check up, we are allowed to let her out of the cage, but in a contined area, so she can strengthen her back legs. Shes getting lots of cuddles and is purring 😊Thank you all 🐱🙏🥰🐈🐈‍⬛

UPDATE 20TH, we've had her home for a sleepover, over night, feeding her hourly til 9.30, 2 hourly throughout the night. She's had a bowel movement and is peeing still. So not happy about being a cage, is our dogs cage as more room... thanks, Carly. I'm not sure if Cece her sister, believes it's her yet. Back legs are still very weak.

Morning visit today Wednesday back to our vet, temperature still high, great news was her having the bowel movement overnight.

Throughout the day, our kids were on feeding duty, she was sleeping between feeds and much more settled, as she is tonight also.

Back to our vet in the morning for daily check ups, so folks this is why we are so very grateful for your donations, as this is a wee road for her and our family to battle with and for her, thank you we are so humbled 🥰🙏🐈

  • Monday Overnight update

      19 August 2025

She made it through the night and is eating, they just want her to have a bowel movement, and pee again. We decided to leave her at our vets overnight rather than moving her back and forwards to the after hours hospital, even though it was unattended from midnight, but much quiter there for her, less stressful moving her to. Just waiting to hear from the vet for an update and plan, cheers Thank you to those whom have donated we appreciate you all so so much xxxx
