Help us help Heidi fight for life, shes fighting to live, we will fight to help her
Christchurch, Canterbury
We found our wee Heidi after a month to the day, having been found in someones garage ( that was only for storage) we posted on every lost pet page, our Local Facebook pages, flyers made and door knocking, We have her, shes not the greatest, but she is fighting and we want to give her every chance we can, so as of today now some 24hrs on, and lots of $$ some improvements, they syringe fed her a little, she loved that, and she, has peed, and was trying to stand ( not that she can) she still can't see, and we are just hoping with the thiamine ( vita B1) that's going in, it will / should reverse this, she is meowing and talking to us, If she makes more Improvements during the day today, she may be able to stay at our vets, if no, overnight care back at after hours hospital, this a all comes at a cost, if you can help even help a little bit, it will all help out, I appreciate it if you can.
This will go towards her ongoing Hospital and vet care, will donate any left over to another vet care.
Almost 3 wks since found 6 September 2025
Hello all,
Our wee Heidi cat is on the improve, thank goodness, and just needs more muscle and cognitive recovery, but the b1 should fix that Hello, this morning. Thank you so so much for my yogurt grains, I'm looking forward to using them, and I appreciate that a lot, look like I can have some fun with the recipe.
Our wee Heidi cat is on the improve, thank goodness, and just needs more muscle and cognitive recovery, but the b1 should fix that over time, we are now on monthly visits as of yesterday to the vets as she's gained back her weight. Thank goodness, photo here in a harness outside, she not a fan, but little by little, as I'm not sure if she took off outdoors that she'd not know how to get home or out of trouble right now, so we are playing it safe with supervised outings,
