Help Henry study toward his Masters at the Royal Academy of Music!

Hello everybody, my name is Henry Close and I am a horn player from New Zealand. In 2022 I completed my Bachelor of Music with Honours at the New Zealand School of Music under the tutelage of Samuel Jacobs and Sebastian Dunn. Since then I have been based in Wellington as a freelancer, working regularly with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Wellington, and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.

I was recently offered a place in the Master of Arts Performance programme at the Royal Academy of Music in London. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to learn from some of the best musicians in the world and further develop myself as an aspiring orchestral musician.

The cost to study and live in London is sadly rather high. I am applying for scholarships from NZ and UK-based institutions as well as for a bursary from the school. However, any additional support would be greatly appreciated and would go towards my course fees!
