help us raise funds so we can explore alternative treatments for Hoanis cancer.
Wellington, Kapiti Coast District
In February 2021 my wonderful partner Hoani, 26 at the time, was diagnosed with testicular cancer and what should have been a very curable cancer with a only a couple rounds of chemotherapy to cure him, turned out to be a less curable cancer which meant more very intense chemotherapy, knowing this we still hoped he would be cured. shortly after he finished his intensive chemotherapy we were told the cancer was undetectable, which was the best news we could’ve ever wished for.
Unfortunately after a recent check up, we were told the cancer is back and after Hoani having received the most aggressive chemotherapy treatment on offer, they have now run out of curative options, this was heartbreaking news that we are still struggling to come to terms with.
At this point we are hoping alternative treatments and medications are our best options to either beat the cancer or keep him living longer, but with Hoani out of work due to pain and fatigue and me only working part time while caring for him we have very limited funds.
You can help us by donating, sharing this page or by simply sending good healing thoughts his way. Any of which will be so helpful and hugely appreciated by us.
Thanks for reading and thanks for the support.
Hoani is my absolute world, my partner of almost 3 years and for hopefully many many more.
any contributions will go towards alternative treatments for hoani, this will include: osteopathy, acupuncture, massage therapy, herbal remedies & supplements, while also making life more comfortable for us. Feel free to ask us any questions.
Hoani update 5 January 2023
A huge thank you to everybody that donated, Hoani and I are forever grateful, it truly meant the world to us. With the funds we have received Hoani has been taking various natural supplements, his energy levels have improved so much and his pain has very much subsided and he’s been able to do a lot more with his days. We've been going for lots of bike rides together and going for swims at the beach, last week we even walked to the top of kapiti island (see pic of Hoani at the top) After recent scans we’ve learnt that Hoanis tumours are still growing, but not too fast. I’m hoping we’ll be able to to keep them growing very slowly or better yet, not at all. Much love everyone, this wouldn’t have been possible without all your kindness ❤️❤️ Love, tessa and hoani.
