Help improve Arthur's quality of life as a stroke survivor with stem cell treatment

Hi everyone! I would like to introduce one of the most compassionate, humble and strongest people I know who is also a wonderful partner, sibling, uncle, son and friend. Arthur is a young man who gives back to his community as a teacher and is always ready to help people around him without a second thought.

Unfortunately, at 16 years old he had a stroke which not only impacted him physically but also limited the dreams he had. Arthur had aspirations prior to the stroke of becoming an athlete and pursue a career in this area. Following the stroke medical professionals had a prognosis of the possibility of death and if he were to survive that he may never walk again.

Arthur was broken when he was told of this outcome but he continued to work towards walking again which he persevered in. Despite still being able to walk Arthur really struggles with stiffness in his muscles and experiences hyper-extension in his left arm. This stroke has had such a big impact on Arthurs well being all round and he continues to have little hope that he can be live a life that’s worth living with a content future.

After years of researching and then following the stem cell treatment we have been told recently that the treatment may now be ready to help Arthur’s difficulties and improve his quality of life. This treatment unfortunately is not funded and costs $10,000 if Arthur gets it. Alongside day to day expenses it would take years before Arthur is able to save this amount to get this treatment. Arthur had lost faith that he might enjoy life again until recently so I can see this treatment will definitely help Arthur’s overall well being not just physically.
