Please help us raise funds for Norma-Jean's cancer treatment
Northland
Norma-Jean was diagnosed with breast cancer about 2 weeks ago. It has spread to her lymph nodes. She requires aggressive treatment which is largely subsidised by the government however the drug projeta which will increase her chance of survival costs $20,000. Like any whānau we want the best medical help that is available for our loved one. However, we do not have the means to come up with this cash particularly at short notice on top of the other expenses that we have incurred since hearing of her diagnosis. We are trying to re-house Norma-Jean so that she has a suitable place to live while she is undergoing chemotherapy. She is currently living in a caravan that does not have adequate bathroom facilities for her needs. Norma-Jean lives in Kaitaia and she needs to travel to Whangarei for any medical treatment. This is a drain on her financially, physically and mentally.
Norma-Jean is my younger sister who was diagnosed with Breast cancer two weeks ago. I have set up this page and will manage Norma-Jean's financial affairs so she can focus her energy on her treatment.
The funds will be used to pay for the drug projeta and to assist in finding Norma-Jean a more suitable place to live. Any surplus funding will be donated to Donna Doolittle's Animal Rescue Kaitaia because Norma-Jean is a crazy animal lover.
