Meet Jackson

Jackson is a kind, caring young man with a big heart and an even bigger dream — to travel to Japan with his high school in 2026.

He hasn’t had many opportunities to travel, he’s overcome big challenges in life developing a strong sense of compassion, resilience, and positivity. He loves nature and his family.

This trip isn’t a holiday — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to visit his favourite country, explore a new culture, and share the experience with his school friends. We believe it will inspire him, build his confidence, and help set him up for a bright future.

His Mission – Giving Back While Reaching His Goal

At just 14 years old, Jackson is committed to working for this dream. He’s already doing odd jobs, saving birthday money, and — in a pledge that combines his love for nature with his fundraising — he promises to remove 5 kilograms of rubbish from New Zealand’s beaches for every $1,000 donated.

That’s a lot of plastic that won’t end up in our oceans — and a cleaner, healthier environment for all of us.
