Running to the World Universities Orienteering Champs!!

Hi everyone!

My name is Jacob, and I am an orienteer with a passion for navigating through nature and competing in one of the most challenging sports in the world. I have been training tirelessly for years, and now I have the incredible opportunity to represent New Zealand at the World University Orienteering Championships in Bulgaria later this year.

However, as much as I am prepared physically and mentally, the financial aspect of this journey is a significant hurdle. The cost of travel, accommodation, entry fees, and other expenses quickly add up. Unfortunately, despite working multiple jobs and saving diligently, I am still short of the funds needed to make this dream a reality.

Therefore I have created a challenge for myself which incorporates my training. For every $10 donated to this page, I will be running 1km. So if $1000 is donated then I will run 100km, and there is no limit, so do your best!!

Use of funds

Your generous contribution will go directly towards covering:

- Travel expenses to Bulgaria

- Accommodation during the competition

- Entry fees for the World Championships

- Essential gear and equipment
