Hi, my name is James Speedy,

I am 13 years old, and a year 9 student at Kaipara College in Helensville.

I am trying to fundraise so I can attend the 2018 BMX World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Over Easter weekend I attended the New Zealand BMX Nationals in New Plymouth.

I had a solid race weekend and stoked with my riding, managing to came away with some great results.

I am now ranked NZ 1 in the 13-14 boys Crusier Class and NZ 2 in the 14 boys 20" class.

These results have given me the desire to represent New Zealand in the BMX World Champs in June, which would be an amazing opportunity, and with your generosity this will become a reality.

I am setting up this give a little page so my son can represent New Zealand in the 2018 BMX world Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. I am proud of what my son has achieved is his BMX racing in the last year and he is ready to take on the world.

Use of funds

All funds raised will go towards costs associated with Travel and Accommodation in Baku. Entry fees, Race insurance and Bike related costs.
