Help 17-year-old Kiwi downhill rider Jed Kuegler compete across five UCI World Cup rounds in Europe this northern summer.
Cambridge, Waikato
Hi, I'm Jed Kuegler, a 17-year-old downhill mountain biker from Cambridge, Waikato.
This June & July I have the opportunity to represent NZ & race five rounds of the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup Series in Europe — and I need your help to get there. The circuit takes me to Loudenvielle (France), Leogang (Austria), Lenzerheide (Switzerland), La Thuile (Italy), and Pal Arinsal (Andorra) — the biggest races in the world.
I've been riding since age two. It's my life & greatest passion. In 2025 I won two National Series rounds & took Silver at National Champs. In 2026 I stepped up to U19 & currently sit 1st in the UCI Oceania Continental Series heading into the Championships & Finale in Australia in April. The World Cup circuit is my next step, with a long-term goal of consistently representing New Zealand on the world stage.
Costs are significant & Cycling New Zealand provides no funding. I'm working hard & saving what I can, but hope to raise $20,000 to cover flights, accommodation across six weeks, & race entry fees.
Every contribution gets me closer to the start line.
Thank you so much — this means everything.
Jed
All funds go toward flights, accommodation and race entries.
