Helping Jenette, a foster mom in Namibia, relocate and support 8 children after losing their home and funding. Every bit counts.
Wellington
A Namibian mother’s heart and home for the vulnerable — now facing a crisis.
In 2011, Jenette Theron and her late husband, Andre, welcomed their first foster child into their home in Namibia. One by one, more children came — abandoned, broken, and in need of a family. Over the years, eight children found love, safety, and stability under Jenette’s care. For most, she is the only parent they’ve ever known.
This family now faces a heartbreaking challenge: they must move out of their home of 14 years by 31 December 2025, and their financial support has recently been cut.
By God’s grace, Jenette has found a new rental home starting 1 August 2025, but she cannot do this alone. She needs our help to transition this beautiful family into their next season.
👧👦 Meet the Children
Every child has a story of loss… but also of hope and resilience:
Adelheid (20) – Working to fund her dream of studying Business Administration.
Jacky (17) – From life on the street to Grade 11 student with dreams of becoming a Pathologist.
Joshua (14) – Placed with Jenette as a newborn. A kind, gentle soul.
Vetria (13) – A special needs child, orphaned at 17 months.
Ruusa (13) – Arrived very ill, now thriving and dreaming of becoming a dentist.
Hannah (12) – Adopted by Jenette. Joyful and energetic.
Seebi (9) – Bravely living with sickle cell disease.
Paula (7) – Joined the family at 7 months old. Thriving in Grade 2.

We’ve Moved into Our New Home! 29 August 2025
We are so happy to share that we’ve officially moved into our new home! (We are still busy sorting things out at the old house, but the joy of being under one roof together is truly wonderful.)
We are deeply grateful to every one of you who has stood by us — your love and support have made this possible.
Our journey continues, and we still need your ongoing support for the children’s education, medical needs, clothing, food, and more. That’s why we kindly ask you to please share this link with your friends, and encourage them to share it with theirs. Every prayer, every act of kindness, and every donation helps us keep moving forward.
Attached is a photo of us standing in our new kitchen as a happy family — a picture of hope made possible by your generosity.
With love from Jenette and kids
