    Dear friends, family and friends we have yet to meet,

    Thank you so so much. We are so humbled by the generosity and love we have been shown. This will be a real game changer for us as we rebuild. I hope in the future we have the opportunity to reciprocate and pay forward the generosity that has been given to us. We are pretty overwhelmed by it and usually I’m not short of the right words but in this circumstance, I am right out of words. Thank you so much.

    It’s really hard to find the words right now …. We are exhausted and reality is still only starting to sink in I guess. It’s hard to accept that we need this kind of help because we are pretty staunch about standing on our own two feet and working for what we have. Thank you so much for the generosity and love that people have shown us. It has really come from all the corners of our world and it’s helped prop us up emotionally and will do financially as well. My thoughts are with people hit even harder than us, and I am so happy for everyone who hasn’t been affected. It’s a long slow journey but the journey is forwards and I can see now after a week that this time next year we will be sitting in the garden again in the summer sun looking out our place saying how lucky we are to be here … which happens to be one of our favourite ways to spend an evening … we will get back there… I can feel it.. and with everyones help. Thank you so so much … Jessam, Isabel and I are deeply appreciative ❤️
