Help Jo Woods in her recovery

Jo Woods is unfortunately going through a tough time, needing to have her second leg amputation. She is an amazing person we want to support

Waikato

Joanne Woods is an amazing person with a huge heart. She is well known within the Thames community for being the lovely, cheerful person in the wheel chair at the Thames School of Mines Rock Shop. Jo is already wheelchair bound due to an amputation. Unfortunately a few weeks ago Jo was admitted to Waikato Hospital and a part of her other leg had to be amputated.

We want to help Jo and her family in any way we can with the payment of her hospital fees and recovery.

Jess Gass' involvement (page creator)

Jo is my manager and dear friend. I am setting this up on behalf of the whole staff of the Thames School of Mines because we would like to help reduce her burden in her time of need

Use of funds

This will go towards Jo's hospital fees and recovery as well as any changes that need to be made to her home to make it as accessable as possible for Jo.

Jo, we only meet you once and you made such an impression on us when we visited the Rock Shop. You are the right person for that shop. So earthy , a kind, caring beautiful person. We wish you well and look forward to seeing you next year at the Rock Shop Thames.
