Johnny & Ayşe are devoted parents of two beautiful little boys. Johnny has always been the provider, while Ayşe has stayed at home to care for their children alongside part time work as a creative. Their world was recently turned upside down when Johnny was diagnosed with a rare & aggressive form of terminal cancer. He has already lost over 20kg and is currently enduring intensive chemotherapy. Ayşe is now his full-time carer, supporting him through every step of this painful journey.
The family is now facing not only heartbreak, but the heavy financial weight that comes with it. They urgently need help covering mortgage payments so they don’t lose their home they worked so hard to achieve. Every day living costs & preparing for the heartbreaking reality of funeral expenses is all a burden very hard to bear at this time. Every little bit helps to lift some of that weight so they can focus on what truly matters, holding each other close during this precious time. This fundraiser has been created to help ease some of that burden and allow Johnny and Ayşe to focus on what matters most: spending precious time together as a family. A Heartfelt Update 1 March 2026
It is with the deepest sadness that we share that Johnny passed away peacefully on Wednesday, surrounded by his loved ones.
After such a courageous and incredibly hard-fought journey, Johnny is now at rest. Throughout his illness he showed immense strength, determination, and love for his family — qualities that never wavered, even in the most difficult moments.
While hearts are broken, there is comfort in knowing he was surrounded by love until the very end.
On behalf of Ayşe and the family, we want to thank every single person who supported them throughout this journey — through donations, meals, messages, prayers, and kindness. Your generosity helped ease an unimaginable burden and allowed them to focus on what mattered most: time together as a family.
Your compassion has meant more than words can express, and the love shown through this community has carried them through their darkest days.
