Karen is my 50 year old sister who, last week, has been given the devastating news that her cancer has now spread to her lungs and spine. The traditional methods of treatment are no longer working and not funded, as hers is considered a secondary cancer.

She had been successfully fighting stage 4 oesophageal cancer since April 2019, where she had to give up her teaching job she was passionate about, to undergo Chemotherapy, full Gastrectomy and Radiotherapy.

She is the most gutsiest, brave and courageous human I know and an amazing mother to her 12 year old daughter, who means the absolute world to her. She wants to spend as much time possible with her daughter who needs and wants her mum to survive.

Karen is one of those beautiful souls, who doesn’t like asking for help and always puts others needs before her own, giving her time and precious energy to those in need, even to the extent of looking after her highly dependent mother whilst going through her latest chemo.

She cared for and educated others’ children whilst she was a teacher and would literally give the shirt off her own back to help other people in need. Now is her time to fight this with every method available to her, however these come at a great cost.

We are kindly asking for your help to give her a chance at life. Karen deserves the opportunity to be around for years to come, so that her daughter doesn't have to deal with losing her mum at such a young age. Every bit truly helps no matter how small.

An update on how my natural treatments are going  1 May 2023

Posted by: Karen Pratt

Just wanted to give all my wonderful supporters an update on how things are going.

So far I have completed 3 Ozone therapies and feel this helps as I have less pain for a few days following and also I believe it is helping remove toxins from my body.

I have completed two vitamin C infusions. I haven't noticed much difference so far but I know it takes time.

I am seeing a naturopath this week to identify my bodies deficiencies.

I continue to try to eat a mainly a plant based organic diet.

Thank you once again for all your support. Love Karen

I know some of these treatments are not funded, so hopefully this helps a bit and will be back again.

Wow! Thank you so much for this incredibly generous donation Matt. This means so much and allows me to do a couple of weeks of the therapies I am trying. I'm so grateful for the amazing support you and Sam have shown me. Love Karen
