Keilani (12) is taking on 5,000 shots in 25 days to raise funds for her opportunity to attend a FIBA basketball camp in China in 4 weeks.
Auckland
Keilani is 12 years old and has been given an incredible opportunity to attend a FIBA basketball camp in China. Keilani has been playing since she was 6 years old and loves the game. This is an amazing opportunity for Keilani but has come at short notice (4 weeks to get there). Keilani doesn't attend a prem basketball school, so every little bit of exposure and experience makes a huge difference to her journey.
To help get herself there, she is taking on the 5,000 Shots to China Challenge — shooting 200 shots a day for 25 days to raise funds towards her tournament fees and travel costs.
Keilani loves basketball and is excited for the chance to learn, grow, and experience the game in an international environment. This opportunity means a lot to her, and she is determined to put in the work. With Chinese ancestry through her granddad - it's pretty special that she gets a chance to experience China and meet other players from the region.
We’re inviting our village to support her by sponsoring a shot: $1 = 1 shot closer to China
Our goal is to raise $5,000. Any funds raised over this amount will go towards trip-related costs.
Thank you for supporting Keilani’s journey and helping her take this exciting next step. Every donation, share and message of encouragement means so much.
