Help Khalima to fight colon cancer
Please help raise money to save my mother's life! Every dollar counts!

My mother is an amazing person, who loves life and her grandchildren.
Her name is Khalima.
She came to visit us last year and currently can stay in New Zealand until the 25th of February 2021.
When we wanted to extend my mom’s visa, to stay with us longer, we went through the process of getting her medicals done for immigration.
It has been initially discovered that she has primary liver cancer or HCC but then confirmed that it is a colon cancer that spread to liver and lymph node.
My mom is not covered by insurance and she is not a resident, so she can’t access public funding.
We have been quoted $21,680 for chemotherapy in Bowen Cancer Center for 8 cycle therapy.
Today, I am asking for help in raising money to pay for my mother’s treatment.
Please help to make a difference in the life of my mother and our family and allow her to see and spend time with her family!

I just wanted to take this opportunity and update you on what is happening with Khalima's treatment.
She has gone through 8 cycles of chemotherapy now and is due for her final scan, which will be performed on 27th of August.
If the tumor is small enough to perform radiofrequency ablation procedure, which basically microwaves the remaining cancer cells, then we will be looking into doing that.
Thanks to your kindness this would be possible as a future treatment for Khalima.
