    We have extended the target and timeline due to a very exciting Donation that has been given to us by Kiwis Together. We are now able to put down a deposit for follow up therapy once Centre of Movement move to New Zealand at the end of the year. Without people like you all and charities like Kiwis together this would never have been possible in our wildest dreams. So from the bottom of our hearts we thank you. Watch out for updates once we head off on Kiaras first journey. We leave New Zealand for the Centre of Movement on 26th April for her 3 week intensive. <3

    Thank you to everyone who has donated. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would get this far. But hope held fast, and we have basically done it. Kiara leaves for Australia on 26 April and returns on 17 May. Her sessions will start at 10am each day. I will post regular updates on the sessions and her progress starting from when we leave. Thank you again from Kiara and her family.

    Some photos have been added of the recent trip to Burwood Hospital. Castings for new orthotics and some.new trendy shoes. Someone was very pleased with her self.

  • 2025 Update

    We are waiting on the arrival of some grants that have been promised and some that are still in the pipeline. If these eventuate we will have practically done what we set out to do. If we do manage to go over the goal amount we will be using it to go towards any equipment we may need and or towards a 2026 review session. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone no matter the size of the donation it has all been made possible by big hearts. Kiara is very excited and in her words : She is going to be the best walker ever because " I can do it all by my self". This young girl has so much determination and grit she is a credit to us all.

  • confirmation of $1000 dontaion from Kiwis Together. This money has gone direct to the Center of Movement

    The goal has been decreased by $1000 due to Kiwis Together (KT) Paying $1000 direct. A little about this amazing group below. KT is a community-driven crowdfunding effort where Kiwis contribute $1 a week to make healthcare accessible across New Zealand. Since launching in November 2022, KT has grown from two people to a dedicated family of crowdfunders funding specialist appointments, naturopathy, osteopathy, specialised medical equipment, and so much more. Every dollar donated goes directly to trusted providers with full transparency. And not a single cent of donations received have gone into overheads. That's all covered by us! Supported by everyday Kiwis and small businesses, KT’s mission proves that small contributions can make a big impact. Together, we can reach more Kiwis in need—every dollar truly makes a difference.

    Thank you to everyone for helping with got ua back tshirt. All numbers are sold and we are just waiting for it to be printed. Funds raised $770.

    On another note we are working on two other donations. One is nearly done for $1000 the other is a work in progress. But watch this space for follow ups. A big thankyou to leeston souvlaki van you have been amazing in supporting us.

  • Quick Fundraising Update

    We're excited to share some additional fundraising efforts underway to support this cause. We're currently selling Got Ya Back T-shirt numbers, which we hope will raise around $700.

    This Sunday, we're also holding a garage sale in Leeston. If you're in the area, check out the community Facebook page for more details.

    We'll keep you posted on the funds raised, and as donations come in, our target on Givealittle will decrease accordingly. Thank you again for your continued support!
