Help Kora raise funds for a sensory fish tank

    Kora's fish tank is now all complete (with the exception of a few more plants). We have a community of fish, and Kora enjoys watching them dart about, chasing each other, and naming the colours of the fish.

    Kora will take her little chair and turn it towards the fish tank and then take my hand and lead me to a chair for me to sit in and watch them with her. As time goes by we hope that she will be able to help take care of the fish and tank.

  • Kora's fish tank has arrived

    Kora's fish tank is now all set up. The water has been tested and is ready for fish. We now have four new occupants, with more to add in the coming months to create a little community. There will also be plants to include as well.

    Thank you for helping to make this happen. Kora had a little chair that she has brought over to the tank to watch the little fishies.

  • Progress on Kora's fish tank Fundraiser

    Thank you so much to all those that have donated so far and who have offered their support. We are truly grateful. We have some great news; Animates are very generously going to supply the fish tank and cabinet at cost, so this means we will be able to get the tank we think will suit best, curved corners and a secure lid. We have been very humbled by this experience so far. We are also waiting on news from Mana Whaikaha, disability support services in the Manawatu, who may be able to fund the shortfall. Fingers crossed.
