Let's help Lana and her 11 kids into a home of their own. It's not flash, but it will be theirs. No more landlords, no more wasted rent.

Auckland

Lana and her partner are working hard to raise their 11 kids, and 3 mokos. With some hard work and support from his family they have been given an opportunity to build on family land. They currently pay just over $1000 per week to rent in Auckland and this is their chance to get back to their land and own their own home. They've purchased a granny flat and a garage and will be using their Kiwisaver to set up the water and septic tank. They'll slowly over time turn the flat and garage into a three bedroom home for them all. BUT, they are $3,500 short to buy the flat and garage. We have til Tuesday 24th October to raise $3,500. Any extra funds will help towards the $4k they need to get gas installed. An exciting project that needs a community that cares to get it across the line. Help us if you can. Thank you.

Use of funds

The money raised will firstly make up the shortfall on the purchase of the granny flat and shed, and secondly to pay for gas to be installed.

A summer of building 5 November 2023
