Help Lewis Taiapa join his team for the Floorball qualification tournament 22-28 January 2018 on Jeju Island in South Korea
Wellington
Give a little to help Lewis Taiapa join his team for the Floorball qualification tournament 22-28 January 2018 on Jeju Island in South Korea.
Lewis is a key component to the potential success of NZ. As captain of the NZ team in its previous qualifiers campaign (Thailand 2016) Lewis was the top goal scorer for NZ.
Like most sports in NZ, floorball is heavily reliant on players using their own funds and fundraising. Players pay their own way for travel, accommodation, equipment and general expenses. Lewis’s skill with a stick and ball has seen him represent New Zealand as captain in 2 sports. Most recently he captained the NZ National In-Line hockey team at IIHF In-Line World Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia finishing as New Zealand’s top goal and assist scorer. Lewis’s recent In-Line World Championship campaign left his funds depleted and he needs a little help to get to Korea.
Any donations to help get him to Korea would be greatly appreciated. The NZ team would greatly benefit from his skills and experience as an international player. Every dollar helps!
I am a player in the NZ Floorball team and have set up this page on Lewis’s behalf
The money will be used to subsidise Lewis’s flights, accommodation, coach and team fees for the international tournament on Jeju Island, South Korea in January. At a minimum the total money raised must cover his flights
