My other half made his way to heaven November 2nd 2020.
On February 2nd 2021 I embark on my solo journey of Te Araroa (The New Zealand Trail.)
I will be through hiking from the top of the South Island (Ships Cove) down to the Bluff, it should take me around 70 days.
My night bus from Auckland to Wellington will take me through the same roads ridden by Merc on his weekend away before he passed, I will take the ferry and stay one night in Picton where he stayed before taking a smaller ferry to Ships Cove where I start my through hike.
Any money that is donated towards my attempts will go towards the one year unveiling of Mercs head stone/visiting of Mercs crash sight in Christchurch.

Any and all money that is donated will go towards our plans for Mercs head stone we want to incorporate Mercs 21st key carving into, and the visiting of Mercs crash sight in Christchurch.
