Mahmoud & his family of 5, including 3 young children, need help to evacuate the bombing In Palestine and reach safety.
Manawatu / Whanganui
I am Mahmoud, I am 27 years old. I live with my family and my young children, Rahaf, Omar, and Sanad, and my father and mother, in a tent in the place of displacement in Mawasi, Khan Yunis.
We left our home and fled to a place that they say is safe, but it is not safe, because every day there is bombing in the place of displacement in the tents. We are here innocent and oppressed. Here the children are very afraid because of the repeated bombing every day.
Here we suffer from everything. We suffer from a lack of food, a lack of resources, and the water is not suitable for drinking. We suffer in the tents from high temperatures, we suffer from insects, and we suffer from a shortage of medicines for my father and mother because they are elderly. My mother suffers from her eyes and she has medical reports, but she does not go for treatment because there are no hospitals here because it was completely destroyed by the Israeli army. We also suffer from a shortage of diapers for the baby and a lack of capabilities.
My name is Jess and I am hosting this fundraiser. I am someone who has experienced losing a home, though not in as devastating a way as these beautiful people have. I know the fear of an uncertain future. Please help us to get them across the border into a home where they can raise their family in safety and happiness.
Food, water, shelter, clothing and medical care are universal human rights that have been taken from the Palestinian people. They deserve freedom.
I am a friend, recently meet on social media and wants to see them live a happy, safe and fulfilling life again
The money being raised is going to coordinate crossing and evacuation to get his family out of Palestine. Additionally, the funds will be used to purchased necessary supplies such as food, medical equipment, and diapers for their young children.
