Helping Marcus with medical and treatment costs during his cancer journey
Taranaki
As many of you know Marcus has battled with bowel cancer once before but it has unfortunately returned and metastasised to his liver.
The liver mass was spotted back when he was first diagnosed but he was told it was not cancer. Unfortunately it was cancer and now 2yrs later it has taken over most of his liver and also spread to the peritoneum.
With a wife and 2 young daughters Marcus wants more than anything to see his girls grow up and to be a Grandad. He wants to share his love for the ocean and teach them how to surf.
Marcus is currently in an intensive treatment program in the Thailand Verita Life Clinic using the family savings and money kindly donated to fund his treatment. His treatment involves 9am-5pm 7 days a week receiving infusions of cancer killing combos, full body and local hyperthermic treatment and natural killer cell technology already at a cost of $85,000 and costs still coming in daily.
Marcus has also started a NZ based immunotherapy with the drug Atezolizumab at an added cost of $60,000 followed by. a 3 weekly charge of $800.
Although you cant put a price on life this is taking an enormous financial and emotional toll on the family. We ask that anyone that can please help Marcus to be able to continue this treatment.
Funds raised will gratefully help Marcus and his family with all these costs so any contributions regardless of how big or small would be so greatly appreciated by the family to alleviate some of the stress.
Long time family friend
Money raised will be to help cover the costs of medical treatment (Atezolizumab and Verita Life clinic in Thailand) for Marcus's cancer
