Kia ora whānau,

We’re Mari and Mariana — two everyday athletes with big engines, big dreams, and a whole lot of grit.

After months of hard mahi, sweat, and pushing our limits, we’ve qualified for the HYROX World Championships in Stockholm this June — an unexpected but incredible honour. Representing Aotearoa on the global stage is a dream come true, and we would be beyond proud to wear the fern.

But with just a few short months to go, we’re now facing the reality of the costs involved — international flights, accommodation, race entry fees, and everything in between. As two self-funded athletes, we’re reaching out to our community for support to help us get there.

If you’ve ever trained alongside us, cheered us on, or been inspired by the power of backing yourself — we’d be so grateful for any koha, big or small, to help make this dream a reality.
